{And at the end he asked her "Which of it was really me?" "All of it," she replied, "even the parts that hurt."}
But if you need belief, then darling don't you fear
I'm just a nihilist with some big idea
And if you need release, well I will be right here
I'll hold your holy hands while you disappear
But in turn, I will warp, I will fade
In this beautiful way
All them restless lovers, all them ghosts in covers, all them wicked men
In the end, they were all just the same
All them holy words, all them gods in turn and all them sins
In the end, they were ink on a page
And all them dirty jokes, all them hearts we broke and all we've been
In the end they will change, it will fade

Crutch has been one of the most influential albums of my teenage years. I discovered the band shortly after this album's release, and I have loved it ever since. It broke my heart when KAQOTL broke up, and it kinda makes this album even more special in a way. Crutch is easily one of my favorite albums of all time. jofm
